MARIE ABLEY, FOUNDER

Abley Care's foundations are set on humble beginnings. My vision is to create a thriving support enterprise that embraces compassion and kindness. Abley Care is more than just a service but a family-driven effort to make real, lasting change, ensuring that all people, regardless of ability, can live their best lives with dignity and respect.

My support career has spanned over 20 years on the east coast in Victoria from Aged care to Disability finishing as a SIL House Coordinator. My decision to start Abley Care came in 2020 when I realised that genuine empathy and love is sometimes lost within larger support organisations and if I wanted to make a real difference, I needed to shape my own way to reflect what support workers are providing.

In January of 2025, Shawn Abley joined the family business. With a sharp, business-minded approach and a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate care, Shawn is bringing new energy and innovative ideas to continue the mission Marie started.

Together, Marie and Shawn are dedicated to building a company that blends heart, experience, and forward-thinking solutions to care. We look forward to serving you and your loved ones with the highest level of dedication and care.
